Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH Company, is seeking a Utility Worker in North Carolina. The role oversees assigned lines, minimizes rejects by inspecting pipe, and supports extrusion operations to keep production running smoothly.

Responsibilities include inspecting pipe with tools, identifying non-conforming product and escalating as needed, stacking and banding pallets, following scrap pipe procedures, keeping the work area clean, and assisting operators during start-up and shutdown.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs.

• Demonstrates ability to identify when the product doesn't meet specification and standards, and escalation scale
• Properly stack and band pallets
• Follow scrap pipe procedure

• Other duties and responsibilities related to the nature of the job may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

National Pipe & Plastics, one of the largest PVC pipe producers in North America, is currently seeking a Utility Worker. The Utility Worker oversees assigned lines, minimizes rejects by checking pipe during and after the finishing process, and runs any necessary equipment.
