Job summary

Oldcastle Infrastructure, a CRH Company, is seeking an Electrician for our Colfax, NC facility. The successful candidate will perform a wide range of electrical duties in an industrial manufacturing environment, reading schematics, troubleshooting PLCs, and wiring new equipment.

Qualified applicants have at least 4 years of electrical experience, the ability to read drawings, and a valid journeyman license is preferred. This is a non-exempt, on-site position offering competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 4 years electrical experience preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings and electrical schematics.
• Testing electrical components with meters to detect faults.
• Ability to perform basic math and use power hand tools.
• Working experience of voltages up to 480V.
• Journeyman license preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Install electrical devices such as limit switches, lights, encoders, e-stops.
• Pull wire and make terminations of the complete electrical system for equipment.
• Troubleshoot Allen‑Bradley PLC's and controls.
• Troubleshoot wiring issues and electrical components.
• Install and wire new equipment per electrical drawings.
• Perform light mechanical work and work independently.

Job Summary

National Pipe & Plastics, one of the largest PVC pipe producers in North America, is currently seeking an Electrician. The ideal candidate in this role will perform a wide range of duties in an industrial manufacturing environment. The address of the facility is 9609 W Market St in Colfax, NC 27235.

Job Responsibilities

• Install electrical devices such as limit switches, lights, encoders, e-stops
• Pull wire and make terminations of the complete electrical system for equipment
• Ability to troubleshoot Allen‑Bradley PLC's
• Troubleshoot controls, troubleshoot wiring issues
• Install and wire new equipment per electrical drawings
• Ability to perform light mechanical work, and able to work independently
• Other duties may be assigned as needed

Job Requirements

• High school diploma / equivalent or a comparable combination of education, training, and experience
• At least 4 years of electrical experience preferred
• Must be able to read and interpret drawings and electrical schematics
• Testing electrical components with various meters to detect short, worn out or weak components and defective connections
• Ability to understand and apply basic math skills
• Ability to use power hand tools, tape measure, etc.
• Working experience of voltages up to 480
• Journeyman electrical license preferred
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
