Job summary

CRH's Oldcastle Infrastructure is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Endicott, NY to support loading, unloading, and storage of materials and finished products. You will move product throughout the plant and ensure batches are produced per procedure.

Responsibilities include reading bills of lading, loading trailers, verifying loads, organizing yard stock, and assisting with year-end inventory. Requires at least 1 year warehousing experience, valid license, and ability to operate a sit-down

Qualifications

• 1 year of warehousing experience or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to operate a sit-down forklift.
• Basic math and measurement skills needed for handling materials.

Responsibilities

• Assist in loading and unloading materials and finished products.
• Move product throughout the plant and ensure batches follow procedures.
• Read Bill of Ladings and load flatbed trailers safely and accurately.
• Move finished goods from production to shipping yard and organize stock.
• Receive raw materials and transfers, and support year-end inventory counts.
• Other duties as needed.

Job Summary

Perform necessary tasks to ensure proper loading, unloading, and storage of materials and finished products. Responsible for the movement of product throughout the plant and for ensuring batches are made according to procedure.

Job Responsibilities

• Assisting in the Special bundling area in which employees create and build bundles of pipe for special shipments
• Reading and following Bill of Ladings for loads to load flatbed trailers of finished pipe for transport to our customers in a safe and secure manner per National Pipe requirements
• Checking other employees loading bills for accuracy of their loads before the load leaves the yard. Taking pictures of the loads for future verification purposes
• Moving finished goods from the production transfer area out into the Shipping Yard
• Organizing and rotating stock place in yard
• Receiving raw material via van loads or flatbed loads which need to be unloaded in a time sensitive manner
• Receiving warehouse transfers of finished goods to be unloaded from flatbed trailers and placed in our yard for inventory
• Helping on a team during Year End Inventory accurately count and report all pipe in stock on our yard
• Other responsibilities may be assigned on a temporary or permanent basis as needed

Job Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in warehousing
• Valid drivers license
• Ability to operate a sit-down forklift
• Ability to perform basic math skills accurately
• Ability to read and write, follow verbal and written instructions
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Compensation

• The hourly pay rate is $18.50 - $19.50
