Job summary

Oakworks Inc. is hiring a Utility Assembler to build and assemble metal, fabric, or wooden components for our medical and spa products. The role promotes cross training to advance pay and offers a 4-day workweek with a starting rate of $19.50 per hour.

Ideal candidates have a strong aptitude for learning, 2+ years in electrical or mechanical assembly, and the ability to read drawings. Lifting up to 50 lbs is required in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Must have high school diploma or equivalent.
• 2+ years experience in electrical or mechanical assembly preferred.
• Ability to read drawings and assemble electrical & mechanical components.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble metal, fabric, or wooden components for Oakworks medical and spa products.
• Work across multiple areas on the production floor and cross-train.
• Support cross-training opportunities to advance your pay rate.
• Follow safety guidelines and maintain quality throughout the assembly process.

The more areas employees train in, their pay rate increases!Train in 3 areas- receive $1.00/ hour increaseTrain in 5 areas- receive an additional $.50/hourTrain in 8 areas- receive an additional $.50/hourQualifications:Education: Must have high school diploma or equivalent.Experience: 2+ years experience in electrical or mechanical assembly preferred.
