Job summary

PeopleShare by PROMAN is seeking a Utility Associate in York, PA to support a fast-paced wire drawing department on 2nd shift. The role offers $20.70 per hour, forklift training opportunities, and room to grow within the manufacturing operation.

This hands-on position combines material handling, production support, forklift operation, and quality checks, with emphasis on safety, teamwork, and reliable hours.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude with the ability to use simple hand tools and learn new processes quickly.
• Ability to perform basic math, follow instructions, and communicate effectively in a manufacturing environment.
• Comfortable standing, walking, reaching, and working in an active production setting for extended periods throughout the shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift to move materials, supply production areas, and support department workflow.
• Load and unload ovens, press spools, grind labels from spools, and assist with production reporting.
• Perform quality checks, maintain clean work areas, and support additional department needs as assigned.
