Job summary

Conestoga Wood Specialties Corporation in East Earl, PA is seeking a reliable Material Handler / Forklift Operator to move raw materials, in-process inventory and finished goods throughout our warehouse. You will operate industrial powered trucks and support receiving, staging and shipping to keep production flowing.

The role rewards safety, accuracy and teamwork. Requirements include 1–2 years forklift experience (training available), ability to lift 50 lbs, and basic math and computer skills.

Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment.
• Competencies: Strong attention to detail, solid basic math skills for counting inventory, and a collaborative team-player mindset.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand/sit for extended periods.
• Basic math, reading, and computer skills.

Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable, safety-conscious Material Handler / Forklift Operator to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient movement of raw materials, in-process inventory, and finished goods throughout our facility. You will combine physical material handling with the operation of industrial powered trucks (forklifts) to support receiving, production staging, and shipping operations.

A successful candidate prioritizes safety, maintains high attention to detail for inventory accuracy, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Skillset & Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse, manufacturing, or distribution environment. Will train the right candidate with no experience.

Competencies: Strong attention to detail, solid basic math skills for counting inventory, and a collaborative team-player mindset.

Pay:

• 1st shift starting pay: $18.00 per hour (based on experience)
• 3rd shift - $2.00 Shift Differential
• Ability to earn $1.00/hour increase per pay period based on perfect attendance

Performance Incentives:

• Ability to earn up to $0.75/hour increase at 90 days based on performance
• Ability to earn up to $1.0/hour increase at 6 months based on performance
