Job summary

MTM Transit in California is seeking a Utility to wash, fuel and service fleet vehicles, perform basic facility upkeep outdoors, and support daily fleet operations at Mojave or Lake Isabella.

Starting pay is $21.00 per hour. You’ll work outdoors in varied weather, with opportunities to contribute to safety and efficiency while maintaining a clean, well‑run fleet.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Valid U.S. Driver’s license for past 5 years.
• California Class B driver’s license required.
• No felony convictions involving moral turpitude or narcotics within previous five (5) years.
• No Reckless Driving or driving with a suspended license within the past 7 years and no more than 2 in a lifetime.
• No DUI or DWI convictions.
• Possess valid authorization to work in the United States.
• Must be able to pass a DOT Physical and pre-employment drug screening.
• Must pass criminal background check and investigation & Motor Vehicle Record check

What will your job look like?

The Utility will be responsible for washing, fueling and minor servicing of fleet vehicles, perform facility maintenance and repairs as needed, assist in fleet maintenance daily operations and able to work in various weather elements outdoors.

Service: Kern Transit

Location : Mojave or Lake Isabella

Starting Pay Rate: $21.00

What You’ll Do (Essential Functions)
