Job summary

Canfor Corp. is seeking a Maintenance Clean-up worker to remove debris around the plant site and support operations. The role requires walking and standing most of the day, exposure to outside weather, and lifting light to moderate loads while keeping work areas clean and safe.

You'll push/pull material around conveyors, use compressed air for cleaning, and assist with material handling as needed. This position offers full-time hours and a proactive safety culture.

Job description

Select how often (in days) to receive an alert:

Cleaning of all debris, including trash, wood chips, bark, boards and log rounds from around the plant site. Will require walking and standing for over 90% of the day with exposure to outside weather conditions. Work will be assigned throughout the week as well as the weekend as well.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Responsibilities of the Maintenance Clean-up include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Cleaning of debris from around the plant site.
• Pushing or pulling material from around conveyers and machinery
• Using compressed air to blow down around machine centers and work sites.
• Shoveling and/or lifting material from 5 to 30 lbs. into bins for removal.
• Walking and standing for the majority of the work shift
