Job summary

Mark Anthony Group seeks a Plant Utilities Technician to operate, monitor, maintain, and repair utility systems in our Columbia, SC facility. This role focuses on minimizing downtime and achieving efficiency goals across boilers, RO units, chillers, and related infrastructure.

The position requires hands-on experience with wastewater treatment processes, data analysis, and strong communication to coordinate with brewing and other teams.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience with chillers/boilers, CO2 recovery, RO systems.
• 1–3 years laboratory/operational wastewater treatment experience preferred.
• Knowledge of wastewater treatment operations, chemistry, microbiology.
• Experience with pumps, motors, compressors, boilers, valves, PRVs, SCADA.
• Proficient in MS Office, Excel, Word, email and CMMS.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and repair utility systems and equipment to minimize downtime.
• Analyze data from controls and adjust processes to meet discharge permit limits.
• Perform routine and corrective maintenance, including boiler and RO systems.
• Maintain maintenance records and PM/work orders before shift end.
• Coordinate with brewing and other departments to minimize production disruption.
• Assist with SOP development and continuous improvement projects.
