Job summary

The City and County of Broomfield is looking for a Utilities Technician I to support the water distribution and related systems. You will assist with maintenance, respond to issues, and help ensure reliable service for residents of Broomfield.

This full-time role requires a High School Diploma, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work on-call including some weekends. CDL and Water Distribution certifications are required within specified timelines.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with maintenance of the water distribution system.
• Respond to main breaks, backups, and repairs of utility systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and routine repairs on equipment.
• Assist in major maintenance and repairs to division equipment.
• Operate and maintain construction and maintenance equipment.
• Adhere to safety and security standards.
