Role Description

The Utilities Paralegal will support attorneys with legal matters related to utility cooperatives in a full-time, on-site role located in Vinings. This position requires consistent on-site collaboration with attorneys and staff to meet client needs and project timelines.

Primary Responsibilities

• Schedule meetings, conference calls, and communications with clients, opposing counsel, consultants, and other parties.
• Manage deadlines, calendars, task lists, and matter-tracking systems.
• Assist attorneys with transactional, regulatory, governance, and litigation matters -- focusing on the utilities practice.
• Draft correspondence, corporate documents, resolutions, minutes, pleadings, and other legal documents.
• Review and proofread documents for accuracy, consistency, and completeness.
• Organize and maintain client files and document management systems.
• Prepare meeting materials and board packets.
• Attend client meetings and assist with meeting administration and follow-up.
• Coordinate attorney and client travel arrangements when necessary.
