St. Mary is seeking a maintenance technician to perform corrective and preventive work on electrical and mechanical systems, instrumentation, and SCADA equipment for the wastewater collections system.
The role reports to the Wastewater Collections Superintendent and includes emergency standby duties. The ideal candidate has a High School diploma/GED with 3+ years in mechanical, electrical, and instrumentation work, plus Wastewater Collections 2 certification and a Maryland Class B CDL with
Performs corrective and preventive maintenance on electrical and mechanical systems, equipment, and instrumentation as requested through work orders. Position reports to Wastewater Collections Superintendent.

Training and/or Education:
High school diploma or G.E.D. and three years or more experience working on mechanical, electrical and instrumentation systems
Experience:
Or equivalent technical training, education, and/or experience

Work demands occasional strenuous effort. For example, handling moderately heavy tools, equipment or materials of 30 to 60 pounds or more.
