The City of Conroe is seeking an Utilities Manager to supervise and coordinate the activities of Water Distribution, Water Production, Water Quality, Wastewater Treatment, and Collection Systems. Responsibilities include daily management of the Backflow Prevention Program, Water Conservation Program, and Sanitary Sewer Overflow Program and provide technical advice on all types of Utility projects.

Must have a minimum of 3 years of budgetary experience. Minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial position. Minimum 10 years of experience working with or in Public Works projects.
Must possess a valid Texas Class "C" driver's license or higher. Must possess a valid Class "B" Water and Class "III" Wastewater license issued by TCEQ.
Starting salary for this position is $105,007 annually.
Must pass background check and pre-employment substance abuse screening as a condition of employment. A motor vehicle record check and job-related doctor's physical exam may also be required. Safety-sensitive positions remain subject to random drug and alcohol testing after hire.
