Job summary

The City of Conroe is seeking an Utilities Manager to supervise and coordinate the activities of Water Distribution, Water Production, Water Quality, Wastewater Treatment, and Collection Systems. The role also oversees Backflow Prevention, Water Conservation, and Sanitary Sewer Overflow programs, providing technical guidance for utility projects.

Ideal candidates bring long-term Public Works experience, strong budgeting and managerial skills, and Texas licenses; proven leadership and emergency

Qualifications

• Must have minimum of 3 years of budgetary experience.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a managerial position.
• Minimum 10 years of experience working with or in Public Works projects.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate activities of Water Distribution, Water Production, Water Quality, Wastewater Treatment, and Collection Systems.
• Provide daily management of Backflow Prevention, Water Conservation, and Sanitary Sewer Overflow programs.
• Provide technical advice on all types of Utility projects.
