Job summary

United Pharma is seeking an experienced Utilities Maintenance Technician to oversee and troubleshoot utility systems in a GMP-regulated aseptic manufacturing facility. The role focuses on mechanical troubleshooting and maintaining clean utilities to ensure uninterrupted production.

The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with pharmaceutical utility systems, CMMS platforms, and a solid understanding of GMP, SOPs, and safety practices.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in utilities maintenance within pharmaceutical or aseptic manufacturing.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and maintenance capabilities.
• Familiarity with critical utility systems and clean utilities.
• Experience with CMMS platforms and maintenance work order documentation.
• Understanding of GMP requirements, SOPs, safety practices, and change control.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on critical and clean utility systems.
• Troubleshoot equipment failures, system alarms, and performance issues.
• Maintain WFI, purified water, clean steam, process gases, compressed air, HVAC, and chilled water systems.
• Service and troubleshoot pumps, valves, heat exchangers, filtration units, piping, and related mechanical equipment.
• Conduct routine equipment inspections and utility system walkdowns.
• Support shutdowns, repairs, equipment startups, and return-to-service activities.
• Complete CMMS work orders and maintenance records in compliance with GMP, SOPs, safety, and change control requirements.
