Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 18 years of age or older.
• 7,000 hours of municipal utilities maintenance experience (~4 years).
• Class B Water Supply Systems Operator certification due within 6 months.
• Class S.B. Wastewater Collection Systems Operator certification due within 6 months.
• Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills.
• SCADA software and Microsoft Office skills.
• Ability to communicate in English (oral and written).
• Demonstrated operation and day-to-day repair of utilities maintenance equipment.
• Working knowledge of safety regulations and safe work practices.
• DOT drug testing compliance required.
• Possess or obtain Class B Minnesota driver's license within 6 months.

• Coordinate, schedule, and assign daily work crews within the utilities maintenance division.
• Lead work projects and coordinate resources and equipment needs.
• Communicate project status with supervisor, staff, and residents.
• Ensure proper equipment operation and respond to customer concerns.
• Perform on-call utility duties and respond to emergencies.
• Train maintenance workers on duties, procedures, and safety.
• Maintain inventory and assist with long-range budget planning.
• Assist with equipment purchases and specifications.
