Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required with 1+ years in water distribution maintenance.
• Knowledge of water distribution systems and safety procedures.
• Ability to read and understand basic blueprints and drawings.
• Ability to perform heavy manual labor in hot/humid conditions.
• Valid Florida driver’s license or CDL is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains, and repairs water lines, meters, and fire hydrants.
• Performs preventive maintenance on wastewater systems and lift stations.
• Operates heavy equipment for water and wastewater repairs.
• Performs mechanical repairs at treatment plants as needed.
• Supports emergency response during declared events.
