Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil or environmental engineering from an accredited program.
• Engineer in Training (EIT) or ability to obtain within six months.
• Two years of relevant engineering experience in civil infrastructure, water, or wastewater projects.
• Experience coordinating consultants, contractors, developers, or regulatory agencies.
• Valid NC driver’s license or license with NC eligibility and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Plan and review designs for water and wastewater utility projects.
• Deliver capital projects from planning to construction.
• Coordinate with city departments, consultants, contractors, and regulators.
• Provide technical review of public utility infrastructure.
