Job summary

Siegfried Group is seeking a Utility Engineer for our Pennsville, NJ facility to support, improve, and maintain site utility systems including steam, condensate, chilled water, HVAC, nitrogen, purified water, and wastewater. The role collaborates with Maintenance, Operations, SHE, Quality, and vendors to ensure safe, compliant operation.

The ideal candidate has a BS in engineering and 3–5 years of utility or facilities experience, with experience reading P&IDs and a preference for CMMS

Qualifications

• BS Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Electrical Engineering (or related field).
• 3–5 years of utility engineering, facilities engineering, or related manufacturing experience.
• Experience with industrial utility systems (steam, condensate, chilled water, HVAC, nitrogen, purified water, wastewater).
• Experience reading P&IDs, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• CMMS experience preferred; pharmaceutical/cGMP environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering support for site utility systems (steam, condensate, chilled water, cooling water, plant air, nitrogen, purified water, wastewater, HVAC).
• Monitor performance and identify opportunities to improve reliability, safety, and compliance.
• Support troubleshooting of utility system failures and outages; implement corrective actions.
• Review and optimize preventive/predictive maintenance strategies; support projects.
• Coordinate with Maintenance, Operations and vendors; assist in shutdown planning and change control.
