Job summary

The Judge Group is seeking a Utilities Engineer in Murfreesboro, TN to lead planning, budgeting and execution of plant utility projects. You will manage wastewater, ammonia, boilers, steam systems and related infrastructure while driving energy efficiency and safety across operations.

Responsibilities include developing maintenance strategies, coordinating with internal teams and external partners, and ensuring regulatory compliance and on-time project delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in utility and reliability management in manufacturing.
• Wastewater Systems Certification required.
• Experience with ammonia systems and Process Safety Management (PSM).
• Experience with high-pressure boiler systems and regulatory compliance.
• Experience with safety and environmental processes to maintain regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, budgeting, execution and continuous improvement of plant utility projects.
• Manage utility systems including wastewater, boilers, steam, ammonia, and related infra.
• Develop maintenance strategies and asset improvement initiatives.
• Drive energy management and cost-saving projects.
• Ensure safety, environmental, and regulatory compliance across operations.
• Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Maintenance, EHS, and external agencies.
• Oversee budgets, CAPEX, contractor activities, and KPIs.
• Provide leadership and training to utility teams.
• Coordinate regulatory reporting and permit management.
