Job summary

The City of Dallas is seeking a Supervisor-Utilities Electronics to lead maintenance and supervision of staff working on electronic and electrical systems for water distribution. You will oversee preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance, ensuring safe and uninterrupted services.

Qualified candidates have five years in instrumentation/electronic repair and at least two years in a lead role; a high school diploma or GED is required, with an associate degree in Electronic Technology

Five years in installation/testing/diagnosis/repair of instrumentation or related electronic equipment.
Two years of lead/supervisory experience required.

Responsibilities

Lead maintenance of electronics and electrical systems for water distribution; supervise staff and direct tasks.
Hire, train, evaluate performance, and enforce discipline; manage time and resources.
Develop long-range maintenance plans and budgets; coordinate resources and schedules.
Troubleshoot and repair electronic equipment and analyzers; calibrate and verify maintenance standards.
Ensure compliance with regulations and optimize service delivery.
