Job summary

Grifols is hiring a Utilities Control Room Operator to maintain and monitor the site’s utility systems across steam, refrigeration, HVAC, power, and water processes. The role coordinates shift technicians, troubleshoots issues, and enforces operating procedures to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient plant operation.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a relevant technical field.
• 3 years relevant experience for Operator 2.
• 4 years relevant experience and 1 year as UPO/PSO/CUO for Operator 3.

Responsibilities

• Maintain operation of the site's utility generation and distribution systems (steam, HVAC, power, WFI, etc.).
• Troubleshoot and maintain utility systems coordinating with shift technicians.
• Enforce site Utility Operating Procedures and coordinate utility interruptions.
• Train shift technicians in safety and operating procedures as directed.
• Respond to DCS and BAS alarms to maintain environmental conditions.
• Manage utility complaint calls ensuring comfort and utility reliability.
• Other duties as assigned by Utilities Management.
