Job summary

Grifols is seeking a Stationary Engineer in Los Angeles, CA to operate and maintain critical utility systems including boilers, distillation units, and water treatment. The role requires 3+ years of relevant experience and a valid 500 HP Steam Engineer license or willingness to obtain one.

Shift is graveyard, with off days Tue-Wed or Wed-Thu depending on schedule. Responsibilities include monitoring meters, performing maintenance, and ensuring compliance with safety and ISO14001 standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3+ years experience in utility plant operations or similar.
• Knowledge of water pretreatment and pure water production.
• Ability to read and interpret equipment performance data.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate day-to-day Steam, Water Purification, Clean Air, Chilled Water, Refrigeration, Water for Injection, and Wastewater systems.
• Maintain utility equipment including boilers, cooling towers, pumps, valves, and distribution sub-systems.
• Ensure safe, efficient operation and perform routine rounds, readings, and adjustments.
• Conduct tests and take corrective actions as needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment or systems and arrange for repairs.
