Job summary

El Super is seeking a Utilities Clerk for the #22 Phoenix location to support Produce and store operations. The role involves assisting customers, bagging groceries, and maintaining a clean, safe store environment in a fast-paced setting.

Candidates should be able to lift up to 60 pounds occasionally, read and follow instructions, and communicate effectively with customers and teammates. This position is part of El Super’s Store Operations team and welcomes motivated individuals.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags, and short memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Present information clearly in one-to-one and small group settings to customers and coworkers.
• Lift and move up to 25 pounds regularly, up to 60 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the Produce Department and help customers on the floor as needed.
• Bag groceries for customers and help carry groceries when requested.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety; retrieve carts, run price checks, and assist with go-backs and parking lot waste.
