Job summary

El Super seeks a Utilities Clerk at #62 El Paso Gateway to help maintain the store, assist customers, and bag groceries for shoppers. This role supports the Produce Department and keeps aisles clean, carts organized, and price checks performed in a fast-paced environment.

Starting at $12 per hour, the position emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and a willingness to lift up to 60 pounds. Previous retail experience is helpful; basic PC skills are a bonus, and opportunities exist within the Chedraui

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information to customers and coworkers in one-on-one or small group settings.
• Regularly lift/move up to 60 pounds as part of duties.
• Basic PC/Outlook skills are helpful.
• Retail knowledge or experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in proper store maintenance, especially Produce, and help customers on the floor.
• Bag groceries for customers and carry out groceries when needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness, retrieve carts, run price checks, and support check stand upkeep.
• Remove waste from the parking area and support daily operations in a fast-paced grocery environment.
• Adhere to safety and accessibility guidelines and follow the complete job description.
