Job summary

El Super is seeking a Utilities Clerk (#55 Camelback) to support store operations in Phoenix, focusing on the Produce Department and helping customers on the store floor. The role includes bagging groceries, carrying out groceries when requested, and maintaining a clean, safe environment.

You will manage carts, perform price checks, assist with go-backs and checkout upkeep, and help remove waste from the parking area.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, shelf tags, and short memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information to customers and colleagues.
• Apply common sense to carry out written or oral instructions.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 60 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Assist in proper store maintenance, especially in Produce.
• Bag groceries for customers; carry out groceries when needed.
• Maintain store cleanliness and safety at all times.
• Maintain and retrieve store carts; run price checks.
• Assist with go-backs and checkout upkeep; remove waste from parking area.
