Job summary

Diamond Technical Services, Inc. is seeking an experienced UT Shearwave Level II Technician to join our engineering and inspection team in the field. The role focuses on high-quality non-destructive testing using shearwave ultrasonic methods across various industrial sites.

You will work with industry-leading equipment, perform maintenance, and collaborate with project teams, travel to sites as required, ensuring safety and accuracy in inspections.

Qualifications

• Level II UTSW certification is required.
• Hands-on experience with UTSW equipment and software.
• Strong understanding of ASME, API and AWS codes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Highschool diploma or equivalent.
• Background in utility, oil & gas, or power industries.

Responsibilities

• Perform Shearwave Ultrasonic Testing (UTSW) in accordance with ASME, API, and AWS codes.
• Conduct equipment maintenance and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and perform maintenance.
• Interpret and evaluate inspection data, calculations, and results.
• Prepare clear, accurate technical reports.
• Work independently in the field while collaborating with project teams.
• Travel to job sites as required.
