Job summary

Reliable Testing Services LLC in Missouri is seeking a Non-Destructive Testing Inspector, Level II UT Shear Wave Inspector, or Level II RT Inspector to join our team. You will monitor weld quality at various structural steel sites, perform AWS/ASNT inspections, and approve or reject welds based on strict standards.

Ideal candidate has keen eye for detail, strong documentation skills, and is willing to travel long distances, work nights/weekends, and lift up to 75 pounds as needed.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a CWI or NDT Inspector or in a similar role.
• Understanding of welding and quality control a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Review blueprints and instructions to understand quality requirements.
• Select samples and test using standard methods.
• Approve or reject samples based on quality standards.
• Use necessary testing tools.
• Maintain records of testing outcomes.
• Ensure health and safety compliance.
• Assist NDT Technician with inspections of structures, boilers, or other components.
• Assist in setup and operation of NDT equipment.
• Identify defects using testing techniques.
• Follow safety instructions.
• Identify materials and load/calibrate equipment for NDT.
