Job summary

PROtect, LLC is seeking an experienced UT Shear Wave Technician to perform non-destructive testing and inspection services at industrial facilities. You will identify defects, operate specialized NDT equipment, and maintain thorough documentation while prioritizing safety.

The role involves using multiple NDT methods across diverse projects, providing guidance to assistants, and contributing to the technical growth of the team in a dynamic field setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and valid driver’s license required.
• Certification in at least one major NDT method (UT/RT/API) and at least one minor method (MT/UTT) preferred.
• Experience operating NDT equipment and performing multiple inspection methods across projects.

Responsibilities

• Perform NDT inspections in accordance with codes, standards, and procedures.
• Operate NDT equipment and select appropriate testing methods.
• Complete inspection reports, tickets, logs, and job documentation.
• Provide instruction and direction to assigned assistants and promote safety.
