Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering (BLE) seeks a qualified Service Leader – UST Fuel System Testing & Compliance to oversee compliance testing, inspections, and regulatory support for Underground Storage Tank systems in the southeastern United States.

The ideal candidate will manage field teams, ensure adherence to federal and state regulations, and provide documentation and client support with an emphasis on safety and quality. Experience with UST protocols is essential.

Qualifications

• Associates Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Science or Construction Management required.
• 5+ years of experience in UST fuel system compliance or testing services.
• UST A/B Operator certification in one or more states preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of federal (40 CFR 280) and state UST regulations.
• Experience with UST components including piping, sumps, sensors, overfill devices, and cathodic protection.
• Experience working with fuel retailers, commercial fleets, or government fueling facilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead scheduling and execution of monthly, annual, and triannual UST inspections and tests (ALLD, line tightness, tank integrity, spills and sumps, overfill equipment, cathodic protection).
• Ensure testing complies with EPA 40 CFR 280 and state regulations.
• Deliver timely regulatory compliance documentation and maintain inspection records.
