Job summary

Bunnell-Lammons Engineering (BLE) is seeking a Service Leader – UST Fuel System Testing & Compliance to manage compliance testing and regulatory support for Underground Storage Tank systems in the southeastern United States.

The role oversees field teams, regulatory reporting, and ensures adherence to federal/state UST regulations while supporting fuel system owners/operators in maintaining operational compliance.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in a related field is required.
• 5+ years of experience in UST fuel system compliance or testing services.
• UST A/B Operator certification in one or more states is required.
• Strong knowledge of federal (40 CFR 280) and state UST regulations.
• Experience with testing of piping, sumps, sensors, overfill devices, and cathodic protection.
• Experience with fuel retailers, commercial fleets, or government fueling facilities.
• Proficiency with electronic testing equipment and compliance software.
• OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER or ability to obtain.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead scheduling and execution of monthly, annual, and triennial UST inspections and tests.
• Ensure testing compliance with EPA 40 CFR 280 and state regulations.
• Oversee field technicians and provide training and feedback.
• Prepare and submit accurate regulatory documentation.
• Develop compliance summaries and client reports.
• Assist in expanding UST services across the Carolinas and Georgia.
