At Sheridan, your work contributes to creating books, catalogs, and other printed materials used every day. As the site’s USPS compliance specialist, you ensure accurate, cost-effective mailing solutions and guide internal teams and customers through permits and guidelines.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in customer service, mailing operations, or related print/mail industry.
• Demonstrated expertise in USPS postal regulations, compliance requirements, and mailing best practices.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with customers, USPS representatives, sales teams, and cross-site partners.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to manage, coach, and develop a customer-focused team.
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and conflict resolution skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Experience supporting USPS documentation, permit management, and postal reporting processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the site's subject matter expert on USPS regulations, ensuring customer mailings meet compliance requirements and maximize postal savings.
• Provide hands-on support to internal teams and customers with USPS documentation, permit management, and interpretation of postal guidelines.
• Monitor and communicate USPS changes, advising customers and site leadership on impacts to schedules, pricing, and mailing strategies.
• Maintain strong working relationships with local USPS representatives to resolve issues and support customer mailing success.
• Partner with the sales team to develop customer-focused postal solutions that improve efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance service delivery.
• Evaluate, implement, and maintain mailing and subscriber service software to support site operational efficiency and customer accuracy.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the Subscriber Services department to ensure timely execution, service quality, and site performance goals.
• Foster a customer-centric team environment by promoting collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
• Recruit, train, coach, and conduct performance evaluations to develop a high-performing team focused on customer satisfaction.
• Coordinate with Sheridan sites and KGL List Services to ensure consistent processes, data accuracy, and cross-site support.
