You will translate strategic priorities into clear plans, improve process discipline, and strengthen execution across interconnected functions. The role shapes operating standards, enhances organizational effectiveness, and ensures compliant, efficient delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, life sciences, or related field.
• 10+ years in pharma/biotech or regulated industries.
• Proven leadership in strategy, transformation, and organizational effectiveness.
• Experience designing cross-functional operating models and large-scale transformations.
• Broad knowledge of Medical Affairs operations, including governance and compliance.

Job description

For our client, we are seeking a USMA Director, Governance & Cross-Functional Operations to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space.

This leader will guide governance and cross-functional operating rhythms that support Medical Affairs in a highly regulated environment. The role will focus on translating strategic priorities into clear plans, improving process discipline, and strengthening execution across interconnected teams. You will help shape operating standards, enhance organizational effectiveness, and ensure the framework supports compliant, efficient, and aligned delivery.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $236,600 – $439,400 annually

Responsibilities

• Design and improve cross-functional operating models across medical governance and related capabilities
• Translate strategic priorities into actionable plans with clear governance and performance measures

• Broad knowledge of Medical Affairs operations, including governance and compliance
