Usher Escalator Greeter

Department: Guest Services

Reports to: Guest Services Staffing Supervisor

FLSA Status: Hourly/Non-Exempt

ASM Global, the leader in privately managed public assembly facilities, has an immediate opening for an Usher Escalator Greeter at ASM Global/Caesars Superdome | Smoothie King Center | Champions Square. Your purpose is to greet guests as they board the escalators, regulate the flow of patrons to avoid overcrowding, ensure guests do not walk up or down escalators that have been shut down due to mechanical or emergency issues, provide general directions (e.g., “your seats are in the Terrace, please take the escalators to the top-level”), answer questions, and provide information. You are on the “front line” and will experience the excitement and energy of the event.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet guests and regulate the flow of guests onto the escalators.
• Engage and interact with guests.
• Offer assistance to guests who may need help locating their seat.
• Monitor the ingress and egress of the escalators.
• All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must successfully pass a criminal background check.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to read and understand written English.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, up to 6 hours, and to climb stairs.
• Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• Education: High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: 1–2 years of customer service experience required.

Physical Demands

The employee is regularly required to move around the facility, stand for long hours during events, talk and hear, and may need to work inside or outside the building as events require.
