Job summary

Talent Groups seeks an experienced UX Manager to lead a team of up to five designers while staying hands-on in UX strategy, research, and design execution. This player-coach role partners with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver intuitive digital experiences.

You will mentor the team, establish UX standards, and drive user research, usability testing, and Design Thinking initiatives to continually improve the user experience.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of UX design experience with progressive leadership responsibility
  • Experience recruiting, coaching, and developing UX designers
  • Proven ability to lead UX strategy while remaining hands-on with design execution
  • Expertise in user research, information architecture, interaction design, usability testing, prototyping, and design systems
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating successful digital product design and UX leadership
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills

Job Description

Talent Groups is seeking an experienced UX Manager to lead a team of up to five UX designers while remaining actively involved in design execution. This is a player coach role that combines people leadership with hands‑on UX strategy, research, and design.

The UX Manager will mentor and develop the UX team while partnering with Product, Engineering, and business stakeholders to deliver intuitive, customer‑centered digital experiences. This role will establish UX standards, drive innovation, and ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.

Responsibilities
Leadership
  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of up to five UX designers while remaining hands‑on.
  • Recruit, hire, coach, and manage team performance and career development.
  • Define and execute the UX vision across digital products.
  • Lead user research, usability testing, and Design Thinking initiatives.

Product Experience

Qualifications
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in UX Design, Human Computer Interaction, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of UX design experience with progressive leadership responsibility.
  • Experience managing and developing UX designers.
  • Proven ability to lead UX strategy while remaining hands‑on with design execution.
  • Expertise in user research, information architecture, interaction design, usability testing, prototyping, and design systems.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating successful digital product design and UX leadership.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to balance strategic leadership with tactical execution in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Experience supporting B2B and B2C digital products preferred.
  • Experience leading digital transformation or enterprise customer experience initiatives is a plus.
