About The Role

We are seeking an experienced User Experience (UX) Designer for a remote role open exclusively to candidates located in Pennsylvania. This role is key to shaping digital products, services, and channel experiences for our customers across the bank’s platforms. You will lead strategic UX design initiatives, testing, and collaborate closely with IT and business teams to deliver seamless and intuitive user journeys.

Responsibilities

UX Design & Strategy

• Drive the strategic enhancement of digital user experiences across platforms
• Ensure all digital channels deliver an intuitive and efficient experience
• Lead the design process from research and wireframing to execution
  
  

User Testing & Research

• Develop and execute UX test plans to validate new designs
• Conduct usability testing and analyze user behavior to identify friction points
• Leverage insights to continuously optimize user flows and product functionality
  
  

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work closely with IT teams to ensure digital deliverables are implemented accurately
• Collaborate with project managers and business stakeholders on enterprise-wide initiatives
• Mentor and guide junior UX designers where applicable
  
  

Business & Technical Support

• Provide technical UX expertise for digital banking initiatives
• Contribute to the strategic planning of user-centered enhancements
• Maintain awareness of current trends in design and digital banking
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of experience in UX design
• OR
• High School Diploma/GED with 10+ years of relevant experience
• Demonstrated ability to drive UX design in large-scale, enterprise environments
• Strong technical acumen, including understanding of web application development
• Experience in Adobe Creative Suite and Sketch
  
  

Preferred Experience

• Background in the Financial Services industry
• Experience with design research and user testing frameworks
• Prior experience as a contractor/contingent worker for First Citizens Bank or subsidiaries (required)
