Lithia & Driveway’s L0218 Chevrolet of Bend is seeking a Recon Manager to streamline used-vehicle reconditioning, document procedures, and ensure quality from intake to lot placement. You’ll collaborate with Senior Sales Managers and the Service Manager to meet safety and quality standards.

The role emphasizes fast, accurate estimates, coordination with detailing and marketing, and driving a culture focused on customer satisfaction and efficiency.

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in reconditioning work.
• Good communication skills for cross-functional coordination.
• Basic computer literacy for repair orders and records.

Responsibilities

• Develop departmental plans, goals, and performance standards with managers.
• Document procedures for used vehicle reconditioning activities.
• Perform intake inspections and estimates for trade-ins and auction buys.
• Open recall campaigns using NHTSA resources.
• Meet 72-hour turnaround targets for vehicle processing.
• Break down reconditioning estimates for labor and parts pricing.
• Inform managers of time, investment, and quality expectations.
• Quality control throughout reconditioning; coordinate with teams.
• Limit post-sale adjustments and after-sale work.
• Coordinate vehicle descriptions and photos with Marketing.
• Report service and department performance to Sales/Service managers.
• Track vehicle locations throughout the process.
• Promote a values-based, results-driven culture.
