Job summary

Gerald Jones Auto Group is seeking a detail-driven Pre-Owned Inventory & Acquisition Specialist to optimize used-vehicle inventory across our Audi, Volkswagen, and Mazda locations. The role emphasizes data analysis, process improvement, and timely vehicle readiness for sales floors.

You will evaluate trades, analyze market trends, source inventory, and coordinate readiness with Service, Parts, and Detail teams to ensure vehicles are accurately priced and prepared for customers.

Qualifications

• Experience in purchasing, inventory, retail operations, logistics, analytics, or a similar field is valuable.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate trades using vehicle history, condition, market data, pricing, and projected costs.
• Analyze market trends and inventory performance to support acquisition and pricing decisions.
• Identify inventory needs based on market demand and sales trends.
• Source vehicles that fit our inventory strategy and assist with pricing and aging dispositions.
• Coordinate with Service, Parts, and Detail to move vehicles from acquisition to sales floor.
• Monitor progress and address delays to achieve the three-day-or-less readiness goal.
