Job summary

Gerald Jones Auto Group is seeking a detail-driven Pre-Owned Inventory & Acquisition Specialist to manage used-vehicle inventory across our Audi, Volkswagen, and Mazda locations. You’ll evaluate trades, source vehicles, and coordinate readiness to keep inventory lean and profitable.

You’ll analyze market data, monitor aging inventory, and work with Service, Parts, and Detail to move cars to the floor. Strong data skills and problem-solving are essential.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate trades using vehicle history, condition, market data, pricing, and projected costs.
• Analyze market trends and inventory performance to support acquisition and pricing decisions.
• Identify inventory needs based on market demand and sales trends.
• Help source vehicles that fit our inventory strategy.
• Assist with pricing and the timely disposition of aging vehicles.
• Partner with Service, Parts, and Detail to move vehicles efficiently from acquisition to the sales floor.
• Monitor progress and address delays to help achieve the three-day-or-less readiness goal.
• Conduct lot walks to ensure vehicles are clean, properly positioned, priced, and ready for customers.
• Track inventory age, market position, sales activity, and other key metrics.
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory performance and profitability.

Gerald Jones Audi Volkswagen Mazda is seeking a detail-driven, analytical Pre-Owned Inventory & Acquisition Specialist to help manage and optimize used-vehicle inventory across our Audi, Volkswagen, and Mazda locations.

What You’ll Do
