Gerald Jones Audi Volkswagen Mazda is seeking a detail-driven, analytical Pre-Owned Inventory & Acquisition Specialist to optimize used-vehicle inventory across our Audi, Volkswagen, and Mazda locations. You will analyze market data, evaluate trades, and help source vehicles aligned with our inventory strategy.

You will collaborate with Service, Parts, and Detail to move vehicles from acquisition to the sales floor, aiming for three-day readiness and ongoing inventory optimization.

Pre-Owned Inventory & Acquisition Specialist

Gerald Jones Audi Volkswagen Mazda is seeking a detail-driven, analytical Pre-Owned Inventory & Acquisition Specialist to help manage and optimize used-vehicle inventory across our Audi, Volkswagen, and Mazda locations.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and improving processes.

What You’ll Do

Evaluate & Analyze

• Evaluate trades using vehicle history, condition, market data, pricing, and projected costs.
• Analyze market trends and inventory performance to support acquisition and pricing decisions.

Source & Manage Inventory

• Identify inventory needs based on market demand and sales trends.
• Help source vehicles that fit our inventory strategy.
• Assist with pricing and the timely disposition of aging vehicles.

Coordinate Vehicle Readiness

• Partner with Service, Parts, and Detail to move vehicles efficiently from acquisition to the sales floor.
• Monitor progress and address delays to help achieve the three-day-or-less readiness goal.

Maintain & Monitor Inventory

• Conduct lot walks to ensure vehicles are clean, properly positioned, priced, and ready for customers.
• Track inventory age, market position, sales activity, and other key metrics.
• Identify opportunities to improve inventory performance and profitability.
