Job summary

Peach State Ford in Jefferson, GA is seeking a motivated Used Truck Salesman to drive vehicle sales and build lasting customer relationships. Under the Used Truck Sales Manager, you’ll identify prospects, present solutions, and close deals while maintaining accurate sales records.

You’ll develop a qualified leads database, write clear appraisals, and help keep the lot organized. CDL preferred; prior automotive or sales experience is a plus as you grow with the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or better; general studies preferred.
• Strong writing, communication, and customer service skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; organized and detail-oriented.
• Experience in sales or automotive environment preferred.
• CDL license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sell used trucks of all varieties in stock.
• Develop a database of qualified leads through referrals, canvassing, and networking.
• Maintain detailed records of sales and prospecting activities.
• Submit pricing information and present solutions to prospects.
• Write accurate used truck appraisals.
• Help maintain the Used Truck lot.

Position Summary:

Under the supervision of the Used Truck Sales Manager, the Used Truck Salesman is responsible for selling used equipment, revenue generation, and achieving customer satisfaction.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the sale of used trucks of all varieties in stock
• Develops a database of qualified leads through referrals, telephone canvassing, face-to-face cold calling on business owners, direct mail, e-mail and networking.
• Maintains detailed and accurate records of all sales and prospecting activities.
• Gathers and submits detailed business information for pricing, and presents solutions to identified prospects.
• Able to write accurate used truck appraisals.
• Helps to maintain the Used Truck lot.
• Other duties as assigned
