Job summary

Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Team Lead to manage the used firearms business, including buying, selling, and firearms customer service. You will initiate 4473 forms, conduct final checks, and drive fair-trade, customer-satisfaction oriented selling while reaching monthly sales goals.

The role requires training Outfitters, maintaining inventory, and ensuring ATF compliance with applicable laws. Local travel and leadership responsibilities are implied in this position.

Qualifications

• Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 2-4 years experience.
• Must be 21 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Evaluates and appraises used firearms exhibiting knowledge of fair market values and negotiation skills.
• Initiates all 4473 forms with customers and conducts final checks prior to firearm transfer.
• Maintains inventory through daily buying and cultivating leads for potential buying of gun collections outside of the store.
• Complies with Local, State, and Federal firearms regulations as an ATF FFL dealer employee.
• Conducts monthly ATF compliance audits and company required audits.
• Merchandises used firearms and arranges merchandise proactively.
• Partners with Internet Specialist to post firearms with highest potential margin and fast turnover.
• Trains Outfitters on acquiring and disposing of used firearms and current sales trends.
