Bass Pro Shops is seeking a Used Firearms Team Lead in Tualatin, OR. You will oversee the used firearms department, manage buying/selling processes, and ensure compliant transfers and customer service excellence.

You will initiate 4473s, verify regulatory compliance, and drive margin through informed buying and pricing. The role requires strong negotiation, inventory management, and leadership in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Must safely handle firearms.
• Experience in firearms retail or buying/selling is preferred.
• Knowledge of current firearms models and market values.
• Strong work ethic and ability to multitask.
• Able to initiate 4473 forms and conduct final checks.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily operations of the used firearms dept, including buying, selling, and customer service.
• Initiate and verify 4473 forms and comply with ATF and company policies.
• Maintain inventory, pursue leads, and monitor local auctions and estates.
• Train Outfitters on acquisitions, pricing, and market trends.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve questions or issues on the sales floor.
