Job summary

Bass Pro Shops in Charleston, WV seeks a part-time Retail Used Firearms Outfitter to evaluate and purchase used firearms, prepare them for sale, and ensure compliance with ATF and state rules while delivering legendary customer service.

You will initiate 4473 forms, guide customers through transfers, and maintain firearm displays and department cleanliness, while staying aware of laws and company policies and contributing to a safe, helpful shopping experience.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–4 years experience in firearms or retail preferred.
• 21+ years of age and ability to safely handle firearms.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, appraise and purchase used firearms for resale.
• Process firearms transfers in compliance with ATF/state laws and policies.
• Initiate 4473 forms and confirm final checks before transfer.
• Maintain displays, cleanliness and correct firearm tagging.
• Provide legendary customer service and assist buying decisions.
