Bass Pro Shops is seeking a part-time Retail Used Firearms Outfitter in Reno to evaluate and purchase used firearms, handle 4473 forms, and ensure proper transfer compliance. You will greet customers, advise on merchandise and process transactions with accuracy.

The role emphasizes legal purchasing, safety, and superior service, with ongoing training in firearms knowledge, product information, and selling techniques. Local travel is required and the environment is fast-paced retail.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent experience
• 2–4 years of experience
• Knowledge of firearms handling and retail processes

Responsibilities

• Evaluates, appraises and purchases used firearms.
• Acquires firearms legally and in compliance with ATF, state and local laws and company policies.
• Maintains visual standards, restocks, remerchandises and keeps back room organized.
• Participates in ongoing training on firearms, products, compliance and selling skills.
• Provides legendary customer service by helping customers identify needs and make buying decisions.
• Responds to customer issues using sound judgment and problem-solving.
• Communicates benefits of company programs to customers.
• All other duties as assigned
