Modern Toyota of Winston-Salem is looking for an experienced Used Car Technician to join our growing team. This position is ideal for a technician who has strong experience working on a variety of makes and models and enjoys diagnosing, repairing, and reconditioning vehicles.
We are specifically looking for a technician with a minimum of 5 years of automotive experience and knowledge across multiple brands of vehicles. Toyota experience is a plus, but not required. We're looking for someone with broad automotive knowledge who can confidently work on a variety of used vehicles.
Perform inspections, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on used vehicles
Diagnose vehicle concerns across multiple makes and models
Complete repairs accurately and efficiently to prepare vehicles for sale
Perform multi-point inspections and identify necessary repairs
Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns
Maintain accurate repair orders and documentation
Work closely with service advisors, management, and the used vehicle team
Follow proper repair procedures and safety guidelines
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Deliver quality workmanship while maintaining productivity
Minimum of 5 years of automotive technician experience
Must have knowledge and experience working across multiple brands of vehicles
Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
Experience with used vehicle inspections and reconditioning is a plus
ASE certifications are a plus
Toyota experience is helpful but not required
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
