Modern Toyota of Winston-Salem is seeking an experienced Used Car Technician to join our growing team. This role focuses on diagnosing, repairing, and reconditioning a variety of used vehicles across multiple brands.

We require a minimum of 5 years of automotive experience and strong diagnostic skills. Toyota experience is helpful but not required. A valid driver's license and ASE certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of automotive technician experience
• Must have knowledge and experience working across multiple brands of vehicles
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
• Experience with used vehicle inspections and reconditioning is a plus
• ASE certifications are a plus
• Toyota experience is helpful but not required
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong work ethic
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections, maintenance, and mechanical repairs on used vehicles
• Diagnose vehicle concerns across multiple makes and models
• Complete repairs accurately and efficiently to prepare vehicles for sale
• Perform multi-point inspections and identify necessary repairs
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical concerns
• Maintain accurate repair orders and documentation
• Work closely with service advisors, management, and the used vehicle team
• Follow proper repair procedures and safety guidelines
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Deliver quality workmanship while maintaining productivity
