Job summary

Acura Highland Park, part of the Murgado Automotive Group, is seeking a skilled Used Car Technician to join our service department in Highland Park, IL. You will diagnose, repair, and maintain pre-owned vehicles to dealership standards while delivering an excellent customer experience.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of automotive technician experience, strong diagnostics knowledge, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years automotive technician experience preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of diagnostics, maintenance, and repair.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced service environment.
• Good communication skills able to explain technical information clearly and professionally.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose, maintain, and repair used vehicles efficiently and accurately.
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability concerns and complete repairs to dealership standards.
• Communicate with parts department to secure needed parts and keep repair work moving.
• Save and tag warranty or customer-requested parts as required.
• Inspect vehicles and recommend additional safety or service work when needed.
