Acura of Highland Park, part of the Murgado Automotive Group, is seeking motivated Entry‑Level Automotive Technicians to join our growing service team. This is an opportunity to start a career in the automotive industry with clear paths for skill development and advancement.

New leadership is rebuilding the service department to grow technician hours and earnings. If you have basic mechanical experience or trade school training, we want to hear from you and help you become a full automotive

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• Basic automotive mechanical knowledge.
• Trade school or prior shop experience preferred but not required.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work in a team‑oriented environment.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and routine maintenance services.
• Complete multi‑point vehicle inspections.
• Assist experienced technicians with repairs and diagnostics.
• Maintain accurate repair orders and documentation.
• Follow dealership service procedures and safety standards.
• Communicate with service advisors regarding vehicle conditions and recommendations.
• Participate in manufacturer training and skill development.

Compensation: $40,000 – $65,000+ per year, dependent on experience and productivity.
