Job summary

Capitol Hyundai, the premier Hyundai dealer in Northern California, seeks a Used Car Technician to diagnose, repair, and inspect vehicles, delivering 100% guest satisfaction. You will perform multi-point inspections, stay current with best practices, and communicate with service advisors to inform customers of needed services.

Requirements include 1+ years in automotive diagnosis, DMV check, and a willingness to training. ASE certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of automotive diagnosis and problem-solving experience.
• ASE Certifications are a plus.
• X-Time/CDK experience is a plus.
• DMV Check required.
• Willingness to participate in in-house training.
• Ability to operate all auto repair tools.
• Knowledge of diagnostic tools and equipment a must.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose the cause of any malfunction and perform repairs with accuracy and efficiency.
• Perform multi-point inspections on every vehicle.
• Maintain knowledge of current industry best practices in automotive repair.
• Test-drive vehicles and diagnose components using diagnostic tools.
• Learn new technical information to stay proficient in diagnosis and repair.
• Maintain legible and accurate paperwork for customers and records.
• Communicate with Service Advisors to inform customers of additional services.
• Diagnose, maintain, and repair engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, brakes, A/C, etc.
• Perform work on repair orders efficiently and per dealership policies.
